Arround Karuah

Karuah is a picturesque town on the banks of the Karuah River, 15 m above sea-level. It is 205 km north of Sydney and 51 km north of Newcastle via the Pacific Highway and a 25 minute drive to Newcastle Airport. Karuah is within 45 minutes of the coastal resort and fishing towns of the Nelson Bay region and is perfectly placed to take advantage of the NSW Mid-North Coast and Hunter Valley attractions. The Karuah River provides a focus for recreational activities such as fishing and boating.
